在LOFT345近期举行的摄影展览,是横跨澳大利亚10000公里的公路摄影。三位澳大利亚艺术家, Sarah Anderson, Gavin Bufton和Meg Hale,开着一辆小尼桑,出发于墨尔本,终点为珀斯,为时四周。三人穿越了纳拉伯平原,捕捉与记录千姿百态的澳大利亚风景,包括澳大利亚最美丽的几个海滩,崎岖多岩的山景。

LOFT 345 presents a photography exhibition showcasing a 10,000km journey across Australia. Three Australian artists, Sarah Anderson, Gavin Bufton and Meg Hale, departed Melbourne on a 4 week journey to capture and document the diverse Australian landscape. Driving form Melbourne to Perth in a small Nissan Pulsar Q, the trio crossed the Nullarbor Plain, hugging the coast of the Great Australian Bite and visited some of the countries most beautiful beaches and rugged landscape.
“Across the Nullarbor in an ‘87 Nissan pulsar Q” will showcase work generated from the trio’s road trip including: Short DVD screening (20 min), 5hours of moving image (Meg Hale) mixed live by V.J Trip Fabrik (Germany) accompanied with live to music from William Lovell (Australia). Photographic prints and digital projection (Sarah Anderson), Photographic prints on canvas plus small-prints photo documentation and slide projections (Gavin Bufton).

ARTISTS BIO
Sarah Anderson is a Melbourne based Photographer. Her passion for capturing the beauty in development has led her on assignments around the globe including Asia, North America and Europe. Her work has been featured in books and magazines, included in Fuji ACMP (Australian Commercial and Media Photographers) and exhibited throughout Australia. Sarah has recently returned to Australia after spending the last two years in British Columbia, Canada photographing mining and the Canadian landscape.
www.sarahandersonphotographer.comGavin Bufton, an established industrial designer, is also known for extending his talent as a jeweller, interior designer, artist and photographer. In an age of instant gratification, Gavin aims to restore the intrigue and suspense native to the analogue format with his PHOTOFREESTYLER projects. Devoted to raw photographic art, Gavin relies on the tools at hand—his eye through a camera lens and the camera itself—to capture the image without post manipulation.
www.gavinid.comMeg Hale is an artist /producer based in Melbourne, Australia. Her practice includes video, print, drawing and sculptural works that investigate notions of beauty in a modern, technology-driven society. She has exhibited and performed extensively in Melbourne’s music and art scene including Next Wave Festival and the Melbourne Fringe Festival. Meg is currently undertaking curatorial role with the Images Festival in Toronto, Canada.
